Get to know Steve Allbrooks
Steve Allbrooks was raised in Virginia and educated at Elon College in North Carolina. He worked his way through college selling books door-to-door for Thomas Nelson Publishing.
After graduating in 1976, Thomas Nelson made Steve Sales Manager for Tennessee and brought him to Nashville. That year he volunteered to work for Robin Beard's congressional campaign in TN-06. This was the first of some 60 campaigns Steve would work on or run over the next 50 years.
Steve played major roles in groundbreaking Republican wins like Cliff Frensley's that made him the first Republican in the TN House from Williamson County and Bob Ring's that made him the first Republican County Mayor in Williamson County.
Since 2002 Steve has been the District Director for all three congressmen who have represented the 7th district, Marsha Blackburn, Mark Green, and Matt Van Epps.
With three redistrictings since 2001, this experience has given Steve unmatched understanding of the People in the 7th district, encompassing some 25 counties in West TN and Middle TN.
Steve has been married to Pam for 46 years. They have two children, who attended public schools and graduated from Page High. They have four grandchildren. Pam and Steve have lived in the Arrington community since 1981.
